Simultaneously disturbing and mesmerizing. Where this film absolutely excelled was in its visual imagery. I would’ve loved a version of this much shorter and with less exposition of Kevin’s character who’s dialogue and performance felt too literal. This film is so incredibly well crafted with some genius imagery but it looses some points from me for spoon feeding us a moral answer.

I couldn’t decide whether or not to rate this bc my opinion is highly subjective but WHATEVER THIS IS MY LETTERBOXD. Far too much liquids and slurping, crunching, breathing,  
gooey stuff for me to actually have been earthbound enough to watch the movie. For the freaky freak little Eggers is making this for I’m sure it’s a masterpiece. I’m not quite that freaky freak. I didn’t enjoy watching it at all.
