TrundleTV’s review published on Letterboxd:
Really fun watching this after seeing the documentary. A very fun movie, not the best ever, but cute and wholesome. Something I’d want to show my kids someday. Powerline is the best part of the whole thing. And despite starring Goofy of all characters, this movie knows when to take itself seriously. When Goofy finds out Mac tricked him, it actually feels heartbreaking. And I think that’s indicative of good writing, lighting, and animation. There was a clear idea for this movie that carries it through to the end. Not to mention probably one of the more realistic teen romances I’ve seen in a movie?
