all these reviews that say the hare is just "stupid" are completely missing the point, it's his hubris/cockiness in feeing the need to show off that leads to his loss, while the tortoise is consistent and focused enough to steal the lead... if u really can't take away this very simple message from a kids' cartoon due to ur patriarchy goggles that's a little sad tbh
