A fairly entertaining revenge story that picks up steam towards the end of the film. If you like revenge stories, definitely watch it. Otherwise feel free to skip.

This film was deeply unsettling and had me at the edge of my seat for half of the run time. I never had an idea of what would lead into the ending. The film was shot so well that it felt more like raw footage at times rather than something that was rehearsed. Leatherface is a very terrifying character and the family made me so uncomfortable to see. Definitely worth watching this one.

From one Letterboxd member to another…. It’s been about 30 minutes since walking out of the theater and there’s still a lump down my throat. This film was a celebration that made me laugh and made me cry even more. This is one of those films that will be with you for a very long time. Thanks for everything Chuck!

This was probably one of the most recommended films for me to watch. I honestly think I saw it ten years too late and should have seen it as soon as it was recommended by my friends. The direction, while it seems chaotic, is not at all. It’s very well edited and allows for the story to be followed very well. The story itself is tragic with me feeling the worst after Sara and Tyrone’s story concluding. This is not an easy watch, but I definitely recommend it being seen.
