I really liked this movie. It's pretty hated in the tiktok community mainly asking "is this the scariest and nastiest movie in the world?" to which I can only say that people have very high expectations and tune in to the wrong things. This movie should NOT be so scary and disgusting, the movie is good in its idea and realization. Although the plot is pretty simple and banal it was really interesting to watch. Elizabeth is a great protagonist with great development, dynamic, messages and a conclusion that many people also hate because of how bloody it was and many people took it as "it was too much" which I don't agree with either for it perfectly completes her development especially in the very final scene with the star.

All in all, this is one of the best horror movies I've seen even though it's not even scary, because regardless of the genre, the main thing in it is the realization, which many other horror movies (and not only) forget.

I've watched very few movies since I'm currently focused on TV shows, but after watching this movie because of a sensational plot twist that I was extremely eager to see I had a sudden urge to watch more because of how masterpiece this movie is. I even ed this app to write a review on it

Regarding the content of the movie, from the intriguing beginning we were being set up for an ending that was supposed to answer the questions the beginning posed, and when that moment came, it leaves you not satisfied with the answers given, but the complete opposite as this shit is just insane. This final sequence fully revealed the motivations of the main antagonist Lee Woo Jin making him one of the best antagonists in the movie, his conclusion and dynamic with the main character is also excellent.

Overall I absolutely did not expect to like Oldboy so much, but it is currently in the top 4-3 of my favorite movies of all time. The fact that many ppl don't have this movie even in the top 10 gives motivation to keep watching this type of media considering I've pretty much never watched anything in spades
