80’s fantasy movies that feature strange creatures and characters are what made me into the freak I am today

That split screen telephone scene has to be one of the greatest moments in cinema

If I was watching a movie in the cinema and people were behaving like these people in the opening scene I would be so pissed. Absolutely unhinged behaviour. 

A good sequel but definitely nowhere near the quality of the first film

Absolutely insufferable. The only reason it’s not getting half a star is because I will it there were a few lines that made me chuckle

Why does this only have a 2.7 average on here?! This movie is so cute and I’m not afraid to it that I got very emotional in certain parts. It also has quite a few funny moments and the voice cast is incredible!

Wilbur is such a pure little soul and Charlotte is the definition of a true friend, I would die for them both

Just when you thought stop motion couldn’t get any creepier they go and stick human eyes on the main puppet. It was very effective though as I don’t think the same emotion could’ve been conveyed otherwise. As always with stop motion, the animation was absolutely incredible and I was enthralled with every moment. The storyline was a little confusing and is open to interpretation but that adds to its surrealist charm. Definitely one to revisit
