It actually made me kind of care about birding which never in my life have I felt close to

Very similar feeling to watching Detectorists, which for my money is peak charming small joys of life

I really enjoyed this movie but up until the last 15min I was like “okay this is good but I don’t get why everyone is getting so wrecked over it”

and then the rest of it happened and jesus christ I have never experienced more cosmic damage. Just a CRITICAL HIT to the thing in the world that I find the most sad / horrifying.
