When a notorious goofball director with a heart of gold is given an actual stage to create an epic, Dogma is what you get. For this size of a film and dick joke humor, it’s awesomely accessible and fun.
It was so great to see it on the big screen after all these years and 720p being the maximum resolution I had ever seen before today.
From the opening scene I was entirely hooked. Every single shot in this is poetic, and the artistic dread that everything comes together to form is absolutely unforgettable.
This is a familiar name, but make no mistake, the style of Eggars’ newest masterpiece is something otherworldly.
