Not at all special for Wes Anderson, but incredibly enjoyable nonetheless. I think my main complaint is that none of the characters felt particularly fleshed out, but I laughed a lot and it looked great.

Paul Giamatti really stole the show for me this time around. I’ve tasted other cocoas. This is the best. And I’ve watch other films, but THIS is one of the best.

Why is it dystopian. Sexy Skeleton Bunny Girls you did not fit I love you but what in the world were you doing there. I had a good time generally and the plot was cohesive but this was not the best opera. And not a SINGLE catchy tune either!!! Good sets talented cast (except love interest man forgetting to act a lot. He just kept zoning out while singing)

Incredibly successful in what they were trying to do. A win for intention. Also a win for people who love student film style lighting (unfortunately not me). But the tenth time he said ‘rub your tummy or I’ll think you’re an asshole’ I felt like the guy who walked out an hour-ish in. Real question: is the celeb some kind of supernatural figure ??? is this based on a folk tale?
