It's pretty cool to see an action movie with a big, sexy, existential brain attached. Such a universal story, you can read so much into this movie from social constructs to gender identity to environmentalism and beyond.

It's the Wachowski's first attempt to do anime in live-action and they nailed it pretty well. (Chunks of this movie are basically live-action 'Ghost in the Shell.') The martial arts of the film are pretty incredible as well.

Keanu Reeves is a severely underrated action star and physically-captivating actor. Others also turn in pretty solid performances. (Fishburne, Moss, Weaving, Pantoliano.)

Best of the best from the Wachowski sisters. One of my all-time favorites.
